Here is our first deception (sorry about that, more will come), in both envelopes the role was the same, the subject was ALWAYS a civilian.
No matter what TeDDy was saying, the person interrogated was always saying the truth trying to convince you that they were a civilian.
A second deception?
Yes, here it comes: while the beat recording sensor was in fact working and getting data about the heart-rate of the subject, the voice analyser was instead following a pre-registered path, with the color showing up as we decided they should show up.
Here is the way we (tried to) tricked you
For questions that were open ended, (“Do you find a meadow in the middle of the forest calming?”) we had the Voice detector always show up green;
For question that you knew where lies (“What is your name?” It’s a fake name so my friend is lying…) we were having the Voice detector show up first orange and then red.
So, in the end, this was not a “fair” social deduction game, what was this all about then?
